|Full-Time Further Education Membership||Over 18, Occasional Playing Membership…
This scheme introduced for 2018/19 is open to existing TWRFC youth players who are now in Full-Time Further Education. TWRFC’s aspiration is to enable youth players to remain club-members for the duration of further education, with the hope that they remain within the sport, play an occasional game whilst back for the academic holidays, and return to TWRFC as senior players once their education completes.
A single payment covers players for occasional social/playing activity (i.e. during academic holidays) for the duration of their further-education. Players who play, or use the club, on a regular basis should purchase Senior Playing Membership. Similarly, once a member finishes full-time further education they must purchase standard membership.
(to cover duration of full-time further education)
|Veteran Membership||Occasional Playing Membership for Veterans… this social/playing membership is available to over 35’s players only and covers occasional playing as part of TWRFC Vets teams. Veteran’s playing other senior club rugby (1st – 4th XV teams) should purchase Senior Playing Membership instead.||£80|
- All Membership categories include all festival entry costs/match fees/3G pitch hire fees which were previously collected on the day.
- Tunbridge Wells RFC Youth section has a policy that rugby should be accessible to all, irrelevant of financial or economic background. In cases of genuine economic hardship (where it is a case of “can’t pay” rather than “won’t pay”) the club is able to offer reduced fees on a case by case basis. Please contact the team manager at your age group who will then be able to discuss this on a confidential basis with the mini/midi or junior section head to seek approval for lower or no fees dependent on circumstances
