TWRFC Annual Mini Festival

On Sunday 25 March at 10.00 a.m. Tunbridge Wells will host their annual Mini Festival, sponsored by Markerstudy. Nearly 1,000 boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 11 in 100 teams from 11 local clubs will take part in a morning of tag and mini rugby at St Marks.

Tunbridge Wells RFC will welcome teams from Blackheath, Cranbrook, Crowborough, Edenbridge, Gravesend, Maidstone, New Ash Green, Newick, Old Colfeians, Sevenoaks and Westcombe Park to the club. At these age groups the aim is to provide fun and enjoyment in a safe atmosphere without the added pressure of overt competition, in accordance with the RFU’s aim to facilitate a game that remains player centred and development driven.

Key timings for the day – and please note that the clocks go forward on Sunday morning so you’ll have an hour less in bed.

Referees Briefing: 09:45

First Matches Kick Off: 10:00

Parking is always at a premium around St Marks – we ask parents and supporters to be courteous to our neighbours in where and how they park.

We have assigned roads to particular clubs as follows:

  • Bayham Road – TN2 5HP -– Crowborough; Cranbrook; Blackheath; Maidstone
  • Forest Road – TN2 5HS –  TWRFC; New Ash Green; Westcombe Park; Sevenoaks; Newick
  • St Marks Road – TN2 5XJ – Old Colfeians; Gravesend; Edenbridge
  • Broadwater Down – TN2 5NU – should you find your allocated area full please use this for overflow parking
