**Match Report from Josh Erbe: Tunbridge Wells 3rd XV vs Medway 4th XV**

Tunbridge Wells faced a narrow defeat against Medway, with the final score standing at 28-26. Despite the loss, the match was a fierce contest, showcasing strong performances from both sides.
In the first 10 minutes, Tunbridge Wells made a promising start, scoring and converting to take a 7-0 lead. Medway swiftly responded, leveling the score at 7-7. Throughout the rest of the half, Medway kept the pressure on, playing deep into Tunbridge Wells' territory. Medway's relentless offense brought the score to 14-7.

The second half saw Medway maintaining their momentum, pushing the lead to 28-7 with consistent line breaks. Despite the setback, Tunbridge Wells' spirits remained undeterred. In the last 10-15 minutes, Wells surged into Medway's half, leading to a try. Although the conversion was missed, making it 28-14, their determination shone through. 2 minutes later it was deja vous and Wells broke through Medways defense for a try, however missing this conversion. 28-19.
Tunbridge Wells continued to press, culminating in another try by Alex Padureanu—his first for the team—bringing them within 2 points at 28-26 after a successful conversion. Unfortunately, time was against them, and the referee's whistle signaled the end of the match.

Overall, it was a commendable effort by Tunbridge Wells, who fought valiantly despite missing a few key players. TWRFC IIIs look forward to welcoming Medway for the home visit.
