Like all Rugby clubs in England, Tunbridge Wells follow RFU’s Age Grade Rugby approach.
This approach is designed to ensure that every player is able to enjoy rugby in a safe environment where they can develop their personal and social skills as well as transferable multi-sports skills.
Players begin playing tag-rugby allowing them have fun whilst learning core skills such as agility, balance, coordination, ball handling and of course the values so associated with the great sport of Rugby (Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship).
The laws of rugby are introduced over time, enabling coaches to focus on building good technique.
