Having started their customary pre-season ‘friendly’ games at Kent neighbours Westcombe Park, Tunbridge Wells next opponents are far from traditional. This Saturday (24th August) we host Belgian club side RC Soignies at St Marks with a 3pm kick-off.

Soignies is a town in the Hainaut region of Belgium and the rugby club plays in the Belgian Elite league. They finished runners-up in this last season and the standard of the rugby they play can be measured by the fact that the club had three players representing Belgium in their last international against Romania.

This promises to be a very interesting afternoon’s rugby as Wells build towards this season’s London South East Premier Division campaign and kick-off is at 3pm.
